We have changed our mask policy recently. Masks are not required unless you do not feel well (i.e. cold, sinus infection, etc. that are not contagious). If you have signs of COVID and/or have tested positive, please call our office to reschedule.  Below are the latest CDC recommendations as well as Peachtree Women’s Specialists’ Policy:

If you have tested positive for COVID, please stay home and isolate for five (5) days.  If you have no symptoms after five days per the CDC, you can leave your home.  Please continue to wear a mask.  If you develop or still have a fever after five (5) days, continue to stay home until your fever resolves. If you have an appointment scheduled with us during your isolation, please call our office to reschedule.

Please note: For our patients’ and employees’ safety, gynecology patients must be at least ten (5) days out from testing positive and asymptomatic to receive services in our office.  Other gynecologic issues that require assistance prior to five days will be handled individually by calling our triage line at 404-351-5230.

Obstetrical patients should follow the same recommendation if testing positive UNLESS you are in your third trimester of pregnancy, which in this case we will provide services after the five day isolation AND your symptoms are improving or asymptomatic.

If you have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID, you should quarantine for five (5) days.  If symptoms develop, it’s best to get tested no earlier than day 3 (preferably a PCR test) and stay home until symptoms resolve.  Obstetrical patients will follow the same protocol UNLESS you are in your third trimester of pregnancy where symptoms must be improving or asymptomatic in order to be seen in the office.

We are allowing visitors in our office however anyone over age 18 must be vaccinated.

For more information regarding Covid and the latest variant, please visit the CDC at cdc.gov/covid19.  Thanks for your cooperation.  We are in this together!

Sincerely,

The Peachtree Women’s Specialists Healthcare Team
