Dr. Bonita Dozier is from Atlanta and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas. She graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine in 1993 and completed her residency at Emory University where she was Chief Administrative Resident from 1996 - 1997. Excellent at explaining the most complicated problems, it is not surprising that she was Emory University's Best Teaching Resident. In 1999, she was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A leader among her colleagues, she was elected President of the Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology Society from 2006-2007. From 2004-2006 she served as the Chief of Gynecology at Piedmont Hospital. She is currently the Chief of Obstetrics at Piedmont Hospital. Dr. Dozier is not only a favorite of other physicians, her patients benefit from her compassion and advanced surgical skills.
